Well it looks like due to various unconfirmed, the majority of Colt 1911 models will fall off the California compliant handgun list in the near future. So if you had your heart set on an all American, well I guess most of America, classic you and better get a move on. I find it amazing that a firearm that has been manufactured for well over 100 years will no longer be legal in the peoples republic of California, only thing I can think of is compliance with the idiotic micro-stamping requirement.
That approved list keeps getting shorter and shorter every-time I look at it, as of right now there are 822 handgun models on the “approved” list, but Friday it looks like these 85 will also be coming off that list, and every currently approved Colt is on the list of guns due to expire on the 1st
